Since 2018, Vic High Reads has been an annual event in which classes from Language Arts, Social Studies, and Sciences has chosen a book to read and to champion as Vic High’s Book of the Year.     The long listing process begins in semester 1;  during semester 2, classes select a book and prepare a 2 1/2 minute presentation — with the goal of convincing Vic High students to choose their book.  The winning book earns the title Vic High’s Book of the Year, and the winning class earns a celebration!

From 2020-2023, presentations have been virtual, but 2025 will bring a return to live presentations at a school-wide assembly.
